Several months ago, I wrote about blocking/removing comments on YouTube (simply not viewing them in Firefox, with no changes to YouTube itself, of course!).
The No Comment add-on page never did go live after I submitted the extension on the Mozilla add-ons site. It’s no big deal… it’s hardly an extension worth mentioning (it’s just a JavaScript snippet to remove a div). If for whatever reason you want to try it. Download it here, and drag and drop it into Firefox. Use it at your own risk (in GPL style).
"I conclude that there are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies.
The first method is far more difficult."
